Putting the Rabbit in the Hat - Book 1

The book I have selected to read, as you can probably tell from the title, is Putting the Rabbit in the Hat, by Brian Cox. I have always been saddened by the fact that life is limited, and when I noticed how Cox's father was no longer present when he was nine, I was immediately drawn to the book as I wanted to further understand what he went through as a child, whilst also noticing the mentality he developed to get him so far in life. I was fascinated to see how his troubling childhood, filled with pain and emotional discomfort, never stopped him in achieving what he wanted to achieve, and that makes me respect him to the highest.

Unfortunately, I have not started reading this book. However, what I hope to get out of it is to learn how he managed to cope in certain difficult periods in life. He is the exact example of not being a victim of circumstances, and doing the best with the cards that have been dealt. I want to learn from his experience, and see if I can implement some of his characters strengths into my life. I am very excited to get started and have my notebook to take notes.
